Although a child is very young
And hasn't lived for long,
Achievements at a breakneck pace
Will make your child grow strong.

Kids start as babies, sweet and small.
They seem to be so frail
Yet, next to things they learn to do,
Our actions seem to pale.

They learn to stand, they start to crawl,
To walk, to run and leap.
They start to speak, for goodness sake,
Such moments are to keep !

So soon their teeth begin to grow,
New changes daily gained.
Before you know it - babes no more -
For now they're potty trained !

And on and on, they grow and grow,
Astounding us each day.
Kids learn to spell, to ride a bike
And swim - all child's play !

So many milestones kids must hit,
So fleetingly they fly
