MOUSE PAD MUSINGS : TALES OF
A THOUSAND AND ONE BYTES

Way back when I was just a child,
The mouse pad did not exist,
But there were other types of pads
And now I'll make a list.

Ink pads were found on many desks
In any office place,
And launchpads held the rockets
To be sent to outer space.

With bachelor pads for single men
Who didn't want a wife,
And lily pads to float on ponds
Gave frogs an easy life.

While notepads were for making lists
And foot pads cushioned feet,
Cats had pads beneath each toe
To make their paws look sweet.

Now, mouse pads are a recent thing
At each computer's side,
But ugly or dull ? No need at all,
Our mouse pads need not hide.

In our gift shop, you will find
Mouse pads for every taste.
With lots of cheerful, fun designs,
You needn't choose in haste.

Some come from stories on our site,
So pictures can be seen
Both on the mouse pad at your side
And on your PC screen.

For bloggers we've a special shop
