IT'S GROUNDHOG DAY,
SO WHAT DOES PHIL SAY ?

In Punxsutawney
Life is bonny,
And downright merry
In February.
  
Folks join the mob
On Gobbler's Knob
To find a thrill
In watching Phil.
  
That little critter's
Full of twitters -
A weather forecast
He will broadcast.
  
It's Groundhog Day !
Will winter stay
To freeze our cheeks
For six more weeks ?
  
If shadows show,
There'll be more snow,
If skies aren't clear,
Then Spring is near.
  
The groundhogs know
Which way to go -
Come on outside
Or run and hide.
  
But, in or out,
There is no doubt,
It's cool to be
seen in our tee.
  
Our gifts and clothes
Win by a nose
Of groundhogs who
Sure love them, too.
  
They know the score
On Spring and more.
They love our stuff
And that's enough,
  
So wear our things,
Good luck each brings,
Then have your say
On Groundhog Day !
